(Q) Why do you need my personal information?

(A) When you place your order we need the following information from you: name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card number, CVV and expiry date. This allows us to process and fill your order. We need to keep your information in the event you need to contact us with a request for warranty, repairs or returns. Information from your order is retained for 13 months.

 

(Q) How can I pay for my order?

(A) Princess Auto accepts orders online using the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Our systems are secure and your information is kept private.

 

(Q) How does Princess Auto ensure my order information is secure?

(A) We use a 128 - 256 bit High Grade Encryption Transport Layer Security (TLS) - also known as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to ensure the security of your online order information. Due to the nature of TLS (SSL), it is important that your browser be up-to-date and equipped with the latest encryption technologies.  Based on the version of your browser you will either securely connect with a 128 bit or a 256 bit encryption level when you enter a secure session with PrincessAuto.com.  To check for security, look at the URL line of your browser when taken to the checkout portion of your order. When is my credit card charged for my order?

(A) Your credit card will be charged by Princess Auto Ltd when your order is ready to be shipped out.  In the event an order being shipped in multiple packages for any reason, you will only be charged for the items in the package shipped at that time. (Q) Why can't I find some items on your website when I use the online search?

(A)  All of the 10,000+ items that are available in our retail stores or large catalogue may not be available through our site due to fluctuations in replenishment frequency and availability of goods. With the exception of items that we are unable to send out through our carriers such as pressurized cans, large containers of fluids, combustibles, sold by the foot items etc. we strive to offer the most comprehensive line of goods possible through our website for purchase.  If you wish to order something you cannot find either take down the item number and call our National Call Centre toll free at 1-800-665-8685 or visit one of our 33 retail locations.

 

(Q) How do I view the Princess Auto Catalogue and Flyer online?

(A) Our national flyer and catalogue are available for download in a .PDF format on the Princess Auto Downloads page; the entire catalogue is searchable online and the flyer is now an e-flyer viewable using your internet browser.  The e-flyer is different than the previous downloadable .PDF and will be modified to enhance the user experience over time:  for a complete list of features please view the most recent Princess Auto e-flyer and select the help option on the menu.  If you wish to receive notification of new e-flyers via email please use sign up using your email address here. 

 

(Q) What browsers does your site work in?

(A) Our website is optimized to work in both Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6 and up, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox version 2 and up, Opera version 7 and up and Safari. You should also ensure that the browser of choice has cookies enabled, Java installed and enabled, and JavaScript turned on. Some features may not display or function properly in older browser versions. If you experience errors please upgrade your browser to the current version. The site also incorporates the use of pop-up windows for informational purposes only.  We do not subscribe to any ad systems.  If you use a pop-up manager, you should configure your browser to allow pop-ups. We strive to make our site functional in all browsers however from time to time you may find something that we have missed; please send us your feedback so we can make it right.

 

(Q) How will I be notified when your next sale starts?

(A) Princess Auto sends email notifications to our email subscriber list only. These are available in either English or French. If you would like to be added to our email list please sign up using our online sign up form. Princess Auto will email you when a new sale starts. Your information is kept confidential and is not shared with anyone.

(A) To receive our twice yearly catalogue and our monthly printed promotions, please do one of the following:

  1. Call or place an order through our National Call Centre at 1-800-665-8685; or
  2. Pick up a catalogue in person from one of our 33 retail stores across Canada.

To remain on our mailing list, please update your name every three months through one of the above methods.  Because of the volume 
of requests we cannot guarantee you will receive a flyer or Catalogue if requested; you will be able to receive email notifications of our sale if
you provide your email address.  If you have requested a Catalogue and did not receive one please visit your closest store to pick up a copy.
