People Behind the Products Cheryl started her career with Princess Auto in late 2006, when she joined the leadership team of our Sarnia, Ontario store. Then in September 2011, opportunity knocked again as Princess Auto was going west...way west to Vancouver Island, and the new Langford store needed a Leader. It was't an easy decision to pack up and leave behind the many years spent raising a family, building a home and starting their own business back in Sarnia. But encouragement from their kids, family and close friends gave her the courage needed to make the bold move. Princess Auto Langford was new in every sense: a new store, a new look and a new team to lead. Cheryl dove right in with the rest of the team, and at the Grand Opening in November, she was given the honour of cutting the ceremonial chain.

Cheryl's motivation comes from the people around her: "Without the right people we cannot be successful. I have always been driven by people. Everybody is unique and everyone has something to teach me. This applies to our Team Members, our guests, our suppliers and literally everyone we interact with each day. It is this opportunity that keeps me looking forward. I am fortunate to be able to guide and mentor a new team, a team eager to learn and a team seeking direction. This is what keeps me excited for the future."

Cheryl is an avid runner who likes to set goals for herself. She's also a self-described risk taker, with skydiving as one of her passions; there's no greater adrenaline rush like falling from the sky at 200 km/hr, according to her!
