Overview
Built-in rechargeable sealed lead-acid battery runs up to 8 hours per charge. "One-touch" combined igniter and safety valve, high temperature safety shutoff system, cooler outer surface temperatures, Built-in charging system & removable charging cord. Safety system will not allow ignition unless fan is turned on.

It is a Gel cell lead acid battery is able to handle hundreds of charge and discharge cycles.It can be replaced and it will work with the cord plugged in.

Yes you can! You will need to have an adequate exchange of fresh air to the area the heater is operating in as as this unit will create CO.
