I have owned this product for several years and have used it to press gears and bearings on shafts, and tool and steel straightening, etc.. I felt that the base was too flimsy and could be easily bent if unit was mishandled during moving or loading. I built something heavier with steel castors for portability and moved the control valve as i didn't like the way it was positioned. I like to pull the lever toward myself during the downstroke, for better control of cylinder movements, so repositioned accordingly. It is a good unit but a very good unit with my improvements
