The Princess Auto Foundation (PAF) was established in 2007 and supports the trades through partnership with Canadian Colleges.  To date the Foundation has raised over $400,000.

Each year PAF hosts two main fund-raising events:  a golf tournament held in Manitoba and Princess Auto Day hosted by all stores across Canada in June.  The Princess Auto Foundation is fortunate to have a five-year rebate program with the Pepsi Bottling Group that generates funds quarterly.  Our stores also sell unique items made specifically for The Princess Auto Foundation with all profits raised going directly to The Foundation's programs.

PAF has completed a website renovation and the new site is now live - please visit us online for more information www.theprincessautofoundation.com

The Foundation will distribute Endowment Bursary Funds to the following Canadian technical colleges in 2009:

NAIT

Northern Alberta Institute of Technology; known as NAIT, Edmonton, Alberta

RRC

Red River College; Winnipeg Manitoba

FAN

Fanshawe College; London, Ontario

 BCIT

British Columbia Institute of Technology; Burnaby, British Columbia

COTN

College of North Atlantic; St. John's, Newfoundland

SIAST

Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

The Princess Auto Foundation Endowment Bursary will be administered by each college. For the 2009/2010 winter programs, bursary funds are once again being handed out at the original three colleges NAIT, RRC and Fanshawe in addition to the three new colleges SIAST, BCIT and College of the North Atlantic.

We are pleased to share that we have introduced a NEW bursary program at all six technical colleges for the 2009/2010 school calendar.  Each college received $5,000 to be deposited in a separate endowment fund.  This fall, one student from each college will receive a $2,500 Princess Auto Foundation Bursary. The recipient will be notified by their college of the award.  All of the colleges have agreed to provide PAF with the name of the student and the program of study they have entered into and the winners will be announced on the official Princess Auto Foundation website.  The remaining $2,500 will be allocated to a separate account to be dispersed the following year to another entry level student.
